Dec 18th Christmas

Since some of my family members weren't going to be home for Christmas, we had part of our Christmas on December 18th.  It was lots of fun.

Aunt Robin (RaRa) and Lauren

Alissa taking care of the dishes for us.  She's such a big girl!

Lots of laughs!

Lauren trying to grasp opening presents.  She quickly learned and loved it.  Although every little piece of wrapping paper had to go in the garbage.

Emily was so excited about her boots from Aunt Glenda.

Alissa getting a pedicure from Aunt Robin.

Lauren wanted a pedicure also so she decided to do it herself.

 Cousins are great!

Lauren is not a fan of Santa!

How do you prepare a 1 year old for Santa?  Don't ask us!  We apprently don't know.  I warned the ladies taking the picture that she was going to scream and try to be quick (and they were quick).  It went just like I thought it would.  She cried the second I put her on his lap.  I had forgotten to watch for her to come back up for her air.  Lauren is so very bad about crying so hard and not coming back up for air that we've had to blow in her face, beat her on the back and etc.  As hard as it was for me to leave her sitting on Santa's lap, I knew she would be okay and that is why I simply LOVE this picture.  She is such a Mommy's girl!

You left the country again?

On 11/4 Lauren and I went to Ecuador.  Yes, I left the country again with only Lauren.  I am not a great traveler so for me to do 6 total flights by myself was a miracle.  I wanted to for my brother Jerry.  He got married on 11/6 and I really wanted to be there for him.  I knew I would regret it if I didn't go.  It was very last minute while waiting for Lauren's US passport. I lost my camera in Ecuador so that is why I haven't been able to post pictures.

Lauren is talking!!!!  She will repeat everything we say.  We are having such a great time and I'm so happy and thankful for this precious baby girl.

Arriving in Ecuador!  A very long long day and 3 flights!
 She loves her Uncle JJ.
She loves her PaPa.  My Dad is afraid of heights but he couldn't bear to let go of her hand.
Lauren was a flower girl and she was beautiful!

My brother Jerry and his beautiful wife Glenda.
Lauren fell asleep at the reception.  I then remembered that 11/6 was her 2 month gotcha day anniversary.  So it was a last minute photo shoot.  She looks like a cherub.

Lauren rocking her baby.

She loves to sit on the couch with a blanket a drink her yogurt drink.

Lauren kissing her baby.

Lauren takes such great care of her baby.

Lauren loves to dance to the music.  She is such a happy little girl.
